Plants from specialist growers and garden sundries available for sale throughout the day.

Expect to find many old favourites as well as some unusual varieties not available in garden centres. Our friendly sales people will be there to offer advice if needed. We look forward to seeing you.

The Public Plant Sales take place at The Community Hut, which is in St. Martin's Car Park at the southern end of St Martins Approach just before its junction with the B466 Eastcote Road, Ruislip.

A percentage of the sale price is donated to Group funds to further enhance our activities and promote a better understanding of hardy plants throughout the community.

Outing to Great Dixter Gardens and Nurseries

July 13 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Outing to Great Dixter Gardens and Nurseries, Northiam, East Sussex: Great Dixter was the family home of gardener and writer Christopher Lloyd, and combines an historic house, a 25-acre garden and is a place of pilgrimage for horticulturalists from across the world. Timed to see the garden at the height of summer with herbaceous perennials to the fore including heleniums, phlox, roses and clematis, our visit will include a tour of the 15th century house (extended by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the 20th century) and an optional guided tour of the garden. Coach will leave outside Morrisons at 9am. Refreshments are available from the Loggia and there is a shop and nursery. Return time is 4pm with a possible break en-route arriving back at Hatch End at approx 6pm. Cost 35 including entrance and guided tour or 30 excluding guided tour. Coach will leave outside Morrisons at 9am and arrive at approx 10.30am. Refreshments are available from the Teashop and there is a shop and nursery. Return time is 4pm arriving back at Hatch End at approx 5pm. Cost 26.50 including entrance and guided tour or 21.50 excluding the guided tour.
